Dixon Recycled Records began as a small shop in Railway Road back in the late 70’s. In the last 30 years, the Blackburn store has become quite an institution in Melbourne, as it was one of the first serious second-hand record stores in town.
The store carries a broad range of music catering to all tastes in a variety of formats (CD/ LP/ 45/ Cassette), all under one roof. As well as stocking music, Blackburn Dixons also carries an enormous range of DVDs/ Videos. The staff at Blackburn are friendly and willing to help solve your musical mystery the best that they can. Between them they have over 50 years of music industry knowledge! Recent news - As well as stocking one of the largest ranges of Heavy Metal cds in Melbourne, Blackburn also specializes in quality vinyl. They have recently put-out a large collection of 70s/80s new wave/punk/rock titles, but there are thousands more lps in all categories of music, all individually hand-cleaned and graded
